I have been wearing out St. Christopher's phone line the last few days, praying over various car and travel related problems. I could use all the prayers I can get, so I'm sending out the call to all my readers.
I have one car that has been repaired (thanks be to God!), but another that is balanced on a knife-edge between being fixable and being a heap of worthless, inert metal. Our family needs this car to be in working condition, and within our meager budget.
The other cause of so much running about by St. Chris lately is the fact that my son passed his driver's test today, and will be on the road by himself for the first time tonight, as he drives to an evening college class. This gives new relevance to the time-worn phrase "Saints preserve us!".
Needless to say, we all covet your prayers.
You have my prayers!

May St. Christopher
and the Guardian Angels
give you and your family
protection, and to all those you pass by,
with steady hands
and watchful eyes.

Tim, You are in our prayers, we have the same dilemma in our house, so I can definiltely empathize with the vehicle situation. God provides, and that is how I am able to smile through it all!! Praise be to Jesus, and to his Loving and generous Father who gives us his Spirit and provides for our needs. Amen

Thanks for your prayers, everyone. My son made it, even though he ended up driving home in a pelting rainstorm and couldn't figure out how to get the window defogged.
Adventurous times.
