I like your Minnesota landscapes. I know that still lifes require great skill, but I don't get as warm a feeling as I do from nature. Hope you are enjoying it here.

Thanks, Marilyn! I enjoy painting the landscapes more now than I used to. I've gained a little confidence and don't feel as disappointed in the results! :-D
It's very different than the still lifes. I love both, but I know what you mean about "warmth" and I'll take that as a compliment!
We love Minnesota, though we all had our noses to the grindstone the first year and weren't getting out and enjoying it as we might have. This year will be more fun, I think.
