Sleeping Beastly

Ah, a Colorado brew! 'Tis a good one. Try something from the Anderson Valley Brewing Company (California) if you get a chance. Their Boont Amber Ale is terrific (if a little sweet) but all their brews are quite good. Or, as they say in Booneville "baal hornin'."

So many of my favorite beers have been Belgian. My wife and I were briefly in Philadelphia this past summer and stopped a couple times at this pub called, I think, Monk's Cafe, which served the most ridiculous number of Belgian beers ... I mean a hundred or more, with something near 20 on tap. It was perhaps as much a highlight of the trip as was the Philly museum of art visit.
