Ryan Herr

Tim, one quibble: Wrigley Field is already corporately named (after Wrigley Gum.)

Tim J.

True, e, and I wondered if anyone would notice. However, being that it has gone by that name since 1926, it is now a tradition, like Central Park or Beale Street.

You can't really re-name those kinds of things without defacing history to some extent. If I visit NYC, I want to visit Central Park. When I go to Memphis, I want to visit Beale Street partly because of its name and legendary past, not to see the asphalt.

Tim J.

Sorry, that was in response to Ryan, not "e".

I never got to see a game there either. Always wanted to.

And not exactly a good season to end the stadium's career on either.
